New Metroid: Other M Trailer Young, Naive
Also a Bit Hungry
by Coop
Slow down, don't go clicking on videos without knowing what they are. Yeah, the headline for this article says that it's a trailer for Nintendo's Metroid: Other M, but there's more to it than that. It's a cinematic trailer, lacking any in-game footage, so don't pound the play button expecting to see some third-person Samus rocking it out and headbutting Space Pirates. No, expect less, and you'll enjoy it more. Much, much more. Seriously, don't go for action, you just might cry.
For as much as I'm sure we want to see nonstop action, further fleshing out the character isn't a terrible idea. If Team Ninja and Nintendo are able to really pull this off, Samus can go from that girl behind the mask to a truly sympathetic character, which is something even Retro couldn't pull off. Granted, Other M looks a fair bit different from Prime, but that's besides the point. The game is due out in just a few short months, so it shouldn't be long until we know exactly how much Samus we'll be seeing wandering around space stations frowning, and how much we'll see of her rolling into balls and dropping bombs in anthropomorphic birds' mouths.

Look who can speak all of the sudden.
bored.
Sadly those Metroid fans will invest in this and be disappointed.
The voice actress sounds really familiar. Anyone have any idea who it is?
