For The Week Of 9/1

Back from PAX and I'm conflicted. On the one hand, I have a few days of school to make up for, seeing as I kinda-sorta skipped two days for PAX. On the other hand, I have to write a bunch of hands-on articles, edit some interviews, and finish up everything from this year's PAX. On the third hand, Mercenaries 2, Viva Pinata, Infinite Undiscovery, Facebreaker, and Sunday's Spore matter more than Chaucer and whatever monk wrote Beowulf. Maybe if I make Grendel in Spore my professors will forgive me for not reading anything.
This week begins Holday 2008, with games like the Force Unleashed and Fallout 3 on the horizon. Excited? So am I. Here are this week's new releases.

haha you know i was somewhat interested by a trailer of it awhile back, but then i saw gameplay and quickly put it in my *no way in hell i spend money on this* bin. :)
plus i heard the 360 version was laughable.
Laughable would mean it was entertaining, it isn't even that good!

Gotta agree that Vampire Rain was godawful. I'm hearing mixed things about Mercs 2 though, I wasn't super impressed by what I saw at PAX.
Savin my money for the fall lineup and the more than inevitable ps3 purchase.
