New Resistance 2 Images Show Leviathan
It's Alive and It's Huge!

The PlayStation Blog has posted two new images of Resistance 2, showing a destroyed Chicago and the Leviathan boss teased in the trailer last week. There isn't really much information I can get from these two images, and they don't help explain the history of this intriguing gargantuan monster, but I can't help but wonder what the battle against it will be like. Very few first-person-shooters have even attempted pitting players against creatures this size, and the ones that have just had the player shooting at it for a while until it fell down. I'd like to see what Insomniac is able to do with the power of the PlayStation 3 this time, now that they aren't rushing to meet a console launch.
I would also like to know if the creature will be a boss in the single player or cooperative campaign, as I imagine that the battles would be significantly different depending on how many players are fighting it. If he can be battled in co-op than I am even more excited to find ways to topple the colossus with friends over the PSN.
Resistance 2 is due out this fall exclusively for the PlayStation 3, and lets pray it makes the date.

Are you sure that's not not brumack?
I sure hope not, because that would mean we DON'T get to fight it.
Ahhh, good point, young padawan.
At first glance I thought it was the brumack aswell.
