It seems fitting that this week, the week Explosion Tuesday included Saints Row, would be the week developers decided to release new screenshots of its sequel. Apparently the game developing industry is watching Gamervision and they know exactly what we want to see – and that is car surfing.

1up has posted some "exclusive" new screenshots of the game and it looks, well, interestingly cool. From the looks of these recent images it seems that they know damn well beating Grand Theft Auto at its own game is futile, so the answer is going over the top (and around the bend).

As you can tell from the tasteful and not-at-all annoying logo in the bottom right, these images originated on 1up.com. They have more of them on their site, so if you really are feeling in a Saints Row mood click on over and check them out.
