Too Human has had a tough time growing up. It started out heading to the Playstation, that was until Nintendo bought out the developer. This change in ownership lead to the games shift to the Gamecube. Then followed a bunch of delays. Too Human next ended up being bounced out of Nintendo’s camp, landing squarely in Microsoft's. Hence today we find Too Human as an Xbox 360 title coming out some time next year. Last week’s E3 showing brought many new game trailers forward. Gamervision didn’t decide to post them all because it was unnecessary – there were just too many. I am not pointing out Too Human because of the graphics or the history. No, I choose to focus on it because the trailer mirrors the plot of a famous Old English poem. And I think its safe to say I've made no secrets about my love for poetry; I can no doubt be blamed for being excited by this: At first I saw some small similar story elements - but I believed them to be coincidental. However, after watching the trailer I became convinced sure that there wasn’t any way the literary allusions were unintended. First one to figure out what the trailer is in reference to gets 3% extra credit on the next exam. Now go on children, dust off those textbooks and let’s see how smart you all are.
