Next WoW Expansion Adding Goblins and Worgens?
Rumor: Two New Playable Races Confirmed by Halloween

Blizzard does a pretty good job at hiding their secrets. Hell, it took until Diablo himself burst out of a webpage for the internet to really believe that a third game was being made. That fact makes it even more curious that they would mistakenly blow one of their biggest reveals in such a stupid way.
The images above are Halloween masks added to World of Warcraft's testing server in a recent patch. In the past, Halloween masks have allowed players to "dress up" as other races. If it were part of a much larger patch that would be one thing, but adding two seems to allude to the Goblins and Worgens being added as playable races in the next expansion.
Rumors are that Goblins would be going alliance and Worgens would be horde, but I'm not too sure. While Worgens are usually evil, Goblins have almost always stayed neutral in the war, making me think that, if this is true, the two races might be neutral races. Just a few weeks ago it was announced that the line between horde and alliance was soon to be blurred, with players able to change sides, adding neutral races would likely help ease that transition.
There are other possibilities, too. There's a good chance that they are simply adding more masks, and there are going to be more to come. Adding the game's other races makes sense and would make this Halloween a bit different, but it's still a little suspicious.
What do you think? New WoW races or an unnecessary knee-jerk reaction?

Goblins are a vehemently neutral class, so I'd be surprised if they were a new race.

Are there any NPC Worgen in the game presently? Are they essentially just werewolves like the ones in Silverpine Forest? Cause they don't appear in any previous Warcraft games, right?

@loltim - I refuse to play a game that I have to pay for monthly when I already bought it upfront.
I played a (very) minimal amount of WoW. Enough to realize if I kept playing I would become uber-addicted.

Yes Goblins are neutral but I could see them in the horde due to their work with the horde in the previous Warcraft games.

YES. Especially in DOTA. They were neutral in W3, but I think they were Horde in W2 right?

@Dom: Yeah, horde in W2. Dwarves were their Alliance counterparts in W2.
@loltim: Never played, I've been off MMOs since my EQ addiction back in '99. Actually I played Star Wars Galaxies for about five minutes but it never did anything for me.
