No sooner does Microsoft deny that they're working on a new Xbox console for the Natal's launch (note: they denied it) does a new rumor pop up to replace it. This time, sources is reporting that gamers will soon be basking in the blue and red glow of 3D gaming on all fourteen televisions that actually support the technology. We're marking this one down as a rumor because, well, it's likely not true. I'm not going to say that Microsoft isn't working on a 3D-enabled console, but it's likely in the same spot as the PlayStation 3 Slim: just because they are working on it, doesn't mean it's coming out anytime soon, and doesn't make this rumor any more substantial. 3D movies might finally be experiencing a comeback (note 2: see Up), but gaming is likely still a ways away from adopting it completely.
