November Backwards Compatibility Update Brings Total to 300
THIS IS MADNESS!
by Coop

Microsoft has released its newest list of games being made backwards compatible, bringing the total to over 300. 300 games and maybe ten good ones, but that isn’t a bad number at all. One big thing is missing however…
BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL! I have been waiting to play it since I don’t feel like getting it for another system and want it to be added to the BC list. Microsoft, for the love of god, Beyond Good and Evil needs to be on there. While I am at it, The Chronicles of Riddick should have been in already as well. I know you want Crime Life: Gang Wars and Nascar Thunder 2002 on the list – but we don’t. Get with the program.

I never owned the original Xbox so this is all I have for that platform. When I picked up the 360 I bought Jade Empire and Ninja Gaiden: Black. They held me over until some of the better 360 games came out - god knows it took a while.
What else is missing from the list? I am waiting for BG&E and Riddick, how about you?

I loved Escape from Butcher Bay on my PC. It's an excellent game to play & looks great.
Syberia II, but no Syberia? WTF?!?!
This list is such crap. I mean, honestly. 25 to Life? That game was awful! Are there really 360 owners begging to play old sports games with out of date rosters?
I want Brothers in arms 1 and 2 to get on the 360!
needs better games, but then again THIS IS SPARTA!!!!!!!!!!!!! o btw, those are my abs they Cg'ed into the movie. true story.
Tom And Jerry In War Of The Whiskers. BOOM.

No SoulScreme, all us 360 owners are chomping at the bit to get our hand on the five PS3 games that are available!
I only need to have a few more games updated and then I can pack up my Halo original xbox and use the precious space in my entertainment center for more collectables videogame stuff! Personally, one of the games I'm waiting to get added is Psi-Ops, one of the most looked over games in history.
@Soul: No, hence our displeasure with this update.
@Sean: Mean, just...just mean.
First of all... how can anyone be upset that three of the finest sports titles ever made are on this list. NFL 2k5. Seminal moment in football gaming history. But the two most important titles on this list are MVP Baseball 2004 and 2005. Before 2K stepped in and out "Maddened" EA on the MLB rights, EA had the finest, most fun and purest baseball experience available in the MVP series.
I, for one, love playing with old rosters, and certainly can't wait until tomorrow to go buy a 5 dollar copy of MVP to play with my roomates.
Oh, I'm sorry Sean. I was just remembering how PS3 has hits that aren't FPSs. 360 has Mass Effect... and... well... you've got Mass Effect.
PS3 has hits?
