Are you a subscriber to the Official Xbox Magazine? Nah, didn’t think so. The magazine has always been filled with over-the-top flag waving for Microsoft and unintelligible article hyping everything from Viva Piñata to Lost Planet.

However, if your Rock Band obsession is teetering over the edge of insanity then you might have a reason to pick up February’s copy, which lands on store shelves January 15th. Included with the folded, colored paper, which you will immediately throw away (or burn, depending on your location and temperature), is three Rock Band songs that are “exclusive to the magazine.”

I haven't heard of any of the songs, but after listening to them I don't think I will be too troubled if I can't get my hand on the CD. The Freezepop song is badass and all, but the other two I can do without. I couldn't even find the third song, "Shake" by Count Zero, on Youtube, but it is on their Myspace.



How long can these really remain exclusive? I find it hard to believe these will never be on the XBL Marketplace.
