Midna? Where are you!? Clover Studios's (which can now be found holding up signs that say "Will Innovate For Food") critically acclaimed Okami is finally coming home to the system it seems to have been made for. According to Eurogamer, "Capcom has finally confirmed persistent rumours that Okami is coming to Nintendo Wii, telling a London audience this week that the game will arrive on our screens in spring 2008." The game is perfect for the system compared to the laundry list of mediocre ports Nintendo's console has been getting. Okami for the PS2 had players using the Dual Shock to draw with a paintbrush to complete puzzles throughout the game. Now Capcom has seen the light and is handing us the brush. The rumors are it will use the remote for not only the obvious paintbrush, but for general attacks as well during combat. Hopefully this will turn out well, as most gamers would be completely content with developers realizing they don't need to tie everything to a wag of the remote. Who will be behind the port is not known. Okami was fantastic but sold poorly, unlike their next game God's Hand which was mediocre and sold just as badly. This is an easy one to screw up, Capcom, watch yourselves.
