Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker was delayed in Japan. No one here cared, because the delay seemed contained within the country's borders. This has apparently leaked, however, and spread to America, where Konami has confirmed that the US release date, too, has been pushed back. Luckily, it's a short delay, so it won't be long before a few more convoluted storylines are added to the confusing web that is Metal Gear Solid's continuity. I'm going to guess there will be at least ten new clones. That's right, ten. Tell me that sounds out of the realm of possibility, I dare you.

The delay to June 8th means that the game will come out the same day as the PSP bundle that was announced early today. Actually, I suppose it means the bundle will come out the same day as the game... I'm not sure how that all works. All that matters is that a PSP 3000 is coming out on June 8th with Peace Walker, and the game itself will also be available on that day. So there are two ways to buy Kojima's story come summer. Odds are you'll buy them both. You know, just in case, and so that you can give the game to a friend for some cooperative action.
