Last year the amazing and innovative Puzzle Quest was injected into the bloodstreams of gamers around the world. Its inventive blend of RPG and puzzle elements caught the community off guard and could became a massive success. If it were any more addictive I wouldn’t be writing this, I would be sitting on the street begging for gold coins and trying to bum electricity off of passersbys. Here is a quote from my review back before I finally kicked the habit:

"Every so often a game blends two genres in such a way that the collective jaws of the collective masses hit the collective floor. This could be for two very different reasons. One could be because we were so dumbfounded that someone tried it that we have to applaud them no matter the outcome.

The other is that the creators did such a flawless job blending two otherwise different categories that they created a game that transcends description. Puzzle Quest is such a game."

D3, being the awful people they are who don’t care about anything but money, has just announced a sequel to Puzzle Quest entitled Puzzle Quest: Another Hit. Ok, that isn’t true, but it might as well be. Here is a quote from their press release that I would have loved to make shorter to cut out the uselessness of the information about a Shaun the Sheep game, but the savvy bastards over at D3 counted on that and tucked the "real" news at the end.

"The company will also be releasing video games based on Aardman's popular Shaun the Sheep character in 2008, alongside the eagerly-awaited follow-ups to the best-selling Ben 10 and Puzzle Quest."
