Red and Blue DualShocks Coming

Sony has announced that Silver DualShock controllers for the PlayStation 3 are now available, with more colors to be released later this year. I know, I know, settle down, it's really exciting.
Red and Blue will be available this fall, giving more excuses to replace the extra, rumble-less abominations you picked up when LittleBigPlanet was released. They're going to be exclusive to Gamestop, though, so if you're still waving your boycott flag you might want to take a moment and shed a tear. They're going to be priced at $54.99, normal cost for PS3 controllers, which is a bit surprising. You'd think Sony could get away with charging a premium for something this hardcore awesome.

Personally, I'm okay with basic black and $54.99 in my pocket.

Meh. I put those silicone covers on all my controllers anyway, so they can be whatever color I want. Currently rock the black (on my gunmetal controller), and blue and pink (my wife's) on my 2 black controllers. I'd love to get white on white with those Japanese controllers though...slick looking stuff there.
