Happy Sunday everyone! Welcome to a new weekly feature called "Retro Game Ad Sunday." I think it pretty much speaks for itself, but if not, here's the pitch: we scanned in a bunch of old advertisements from Gamepros, Nintendo Powers, and other magazines of yesteryear. Since they're usually pretty funny and corny, we figured we'd share them with everyone. Why Sunday? Why not!

Ah, who can forget Destruction Derby. Me, for one. I remember it now, and that it wasn't great (especially when faced with Twisted Metal 2, which was also on the PSX). That said, there's no reason that a developer hasn't made a destruction derby game for XBLA and PSN. Imagine how much it could rock, right? Hopefully that chick is in it, I'm sure she's still that hot.

Did everyone have a good weekend? Mine had much less actual gaming than I like, save for a few thousand hours spent on the DS. I was traveling around watching the VGAs and MMA, so I didn't really play consoles much. The new Might & Magic game, though, captured my attention - expect to hear more soon. What about you?
