Happy Sunday everyone! Welcome to a new weekly feature called "Retro Game Ad Sunday." I think it pretty much speaks for itself, but if not, here's the pitch: we scanned in a bunch of old advertisements from Gamepros, Nintendo Powers, and other magazines of yesteryear. Since they're usually pretty funny and corny, we figured we'd share them with everyone. Why Sunday? Why not!

This week we look at Gargoyles: the Video Game, which I don't remember ever seeing. If it was half as good as the television show, which it likely wasn't, it was likely Game of the Year in 1995. I don't remember anyone awarding it such critical acclaim (or any, for that reason), so we can assume it wasn't great.

How did everyone like their weekend? Good? Friday was New Years Day, and if you had it off you likely realized it's the laziest holiday ever. Seriously, every other "day off" for the holidays is spent driving around and doing crap, but January 1st? Sleep till 2:00pm, eat, sleep some more. Good times, if you ask me.
