Rittai Kakushi e Attakoreda Justifies DSi's Camera
For Real

Above is a video for Rittai Kakushi e Attakoreda, or Hidden 3D Image: There It Is! Rittai Kakushi e Attakoreda,is a DSiWare title by developer Good-Feel Inc., responsible for Wario Land: Shake It!, and, well, that's about it. The game uses the DSi's camera to allow players to change the point-of-view of what looks like a 3D diorama, attempting to find letters hidden by perspective. Tilting the device tilts the camera, making the DSi's two screens look like portals into a different freaking dimension.
To me, this silly, gimmicky title is what the DSi's camera needs to be used for, and it's a shame that there's no word yet on this coming to America anytime soon. Good-Feel Inc.'s other titles focus on teaching Japanese gamers English, so it's fairly obvious they're not too dependent on selling their titles in the West.
It's due out in Japan next week, and will cost a measly 500 points (or, roughly, $5). For me, playing a game that finally brings the head-tracking dreams to life is worth at least that much, I just hope that it makes it over so I can finally show someone my toothpaste-blue DSi and explain that there's a reason I turned in my Lite. There's only so many times I can try to show off WarioWare before it gets old. That amount of times, by the way, is two.

To me this looks like it uses the DSi's accelerometer, not the camera. Does it really need the camera to do this?
