The Rockstar Social Club has been updated with a new advertisment, showing that the LCPD (Liberty City Police Department) has quarantined an area of Liberty City. There is also an interesting logo on the bottom right: Eugenics. Eugenics Inc. actually already has a location in Liberty City, but it wasn't used for any missions, so I wouldn't be shocked to hear that they had foresight, planting the seeds for DLC when the game launched months ago.

For me, quarantine means zombies, and I don’t think many would argue. Sure, there’s a chance that an outbreak of smallpox or malaria is plaguing the streets, but that wouldn’t make for great gameplay, would it?

We’ve posted plenty of rumors about Grand Theft Auto IV before, but this is the first to have proof. 2K has already promised that the DLC would be out this Fall, and that season is slowly winding to an end. Expect more news in the near future, and don’t expect to expect it. Expect to be surprised. That’s what Rockstar loves.
