Rumor: Max Payne 3 Still in Development

CVG is reporting that Rockstar is still developing Max Payne 3, which was originally thought to be a dead project. The team that developed The Warriors, based on the 1979 film, are apparently on the project, so we can be sure that, well, it will be completely irrelevant. I kid! I kid! I heard good things about The Warriors - I have high hopes for Max Payne 3.
I loved the original Max Payne and the sequel actually managed to live up to the high stands the first put fourth. When it comes to massive, slow motion battles, no other games come close, and I imagine a full-fledged current generation version could do amazing things. Just think of the bullet trails! They would be to die for!
In other good news, the Max Payne movie is still looking phenomenal, but I hope they don’t’ decide to model Max after Marky Mark when it comes to the third game. Max has come so far with a douchey smirk on his face; it would kill me to see it whipped off in favor of Wahlberg’s sad stare. They can keep the soundtrack from the movie, though, that Manson song is straight-up haunting.

Didn't play The Warriors. Played the first Max Payne. It was fun. Don't expect the movie to be a whole lot of fun, though, it might be a, oooooo! LOOK AT THOSE CATHEDRAL WINGS!!! Sorry about that. Noticed the wings as I was posting. Where was I?
Oh, yeah! The movie will most likely make a little bit of money due to both gamers and Mark Wahlberg fans. Otherwise I don't think this movie will be well received.
Aside from all of that babble I just spewed onto the internet, I think that another Max Payne game will be around soon enough!
