The Nintendo Wii remake/port/wiimagining of Rygar, renamed Rygar: The Battle of Argus, has been delayed until February for unknown reasons. No changes will be made to the game, there will be no fixes and there were no issues, it will just come out two months after it was supposed to.

1UP is reporting that the title was actually sent to reviewers and the embargo was to lift until tomorrow, so odds are the delay has to do more with the heavy holiday climate and not the quality of the game.

Fans should know that the early buzz has been positive, so the game, whenever it does end up coming out, should be another excuse to break out the Wii. We’ll have more as it developes, and we’re anticipating an official word from Tecmo as soon as tomorrow.
