March's Game Developers Conference was just made a little bit more interesting with the announcement that Satoru Iwata will be speaking at the Discovering New Development Opportunities keynote. On Wednesday, March 25, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. PST, Iwata will be speaking in San Francisco for anyone in the area and a member of the gaming industry. For everyone else...well, you're out of luck, and you'll be hearing about the conference on the internets. Don't worry, you're not missing much.

I wouldn't expect any massive announcements out of Iwata (that would imply that they had massive things to announce), but I'm sure he'll at least tease an upcoming Nintendo title or, at the very least, make us all feel really bad by talking about their nine trillion dollars in sales for 2008.
