Excited for SOCOM 4? That's nice. You must be so happy that the secret Sony sequel was Socom instead of something people care about like Killzone 3, Resistance 3, or inFamous 2. God knows we didn't need a new Twisted Metal, no one cares, right? Everyone loves Socom, RIGHT? It's fine, be happy that Zipper Interactive needs to split their efforts between MAG and a new game. I'm sure it will go great. Oh, wait, sorry, here's the trailer, people shoot stuff and there's a chick at the end. The video gives very little insight into what we can expect from the game, besides typical Socom action.

So, what does everyone think? Is there anything in here that is exciting for fans of the series? I can't say that I know too much about SOCOM, though I'm pretty sure there's little here to go off of. I mean, this comes from someone who goes frame by frame in trailers looking for tiny things to talk about. In this case, there's just a lot of black and white, and that's about it. Actually, maybe that's a clue, I'm in for a black and white game.
