SOCOM Public Beta Starts in September

Oooh, NAVY Seals!

by Coop

On their official website (and the Sony Blog), Sony has announced details involving the Public Beta for SOCOM: Confrontation. It’ll be open to Qore Members and anyone who preordered the title at Gamestop, and runs from the first of September to the end of the month. The Public Beta, just like the full game, will be multiplayer-only and is available to North American gamers exclusively. There aren’t any details about the depth of the beta, such as levels or weapons available, but I would assume that if it is truly a “beta” and not a “demo” there should be a good, full experience to play in September.

As I said yesterday when the SOCOM pricing was announced, I’m not all that excited for the game. It's coming out right around the same time as Star Wars and Fallout, but I plan on picking it up for the headset, so preordering it is a much better idea now. We will have a full report in September, so check back to Gamervision for an unnecessary amount of SOCOM news.

Seriously, guys, just do it all in one day, makes it easier on us.
