Spike TV Video Game Awards Winners Announced
BioShock Sweeps!

I trust his video game picks.
The controversial, mediocre, and over the top Spike TV Video Game Awards air in a few nights. Just like last year's, though it is obvious their finger is not on the pulse of the average gamer, they still managed to pick a nice list of games - albeit with an obvious Xbox 360 bias.
There are some choices I did not expect and some I am happy to see, but overall the list doesn’t have any huge upsets for me. I am happy to see skate and Portal both get their respective nods.
However, it does seem weird to have Drake’s Fortune off of the list. I haven’t gotten around to playing it yet but the rumblings around the intertubes are that it was “pwnd” by Ratchet and Clank by Spike. I mean, hell, it should have at least gotten PS3 Game of the Year.
I also find it funny that in order to give Halo 3 more awards they essentially added a new category just for it. In fact, that is what many of the choices seem like. "Best Military Game?" "Best Individual Sports Game?" They seem like they picked the games first, then the categories. At least you can’t say they didn’t try. The full list is below, anything piss you off? Any surprises?
