EA has announced that Spore is done. Finally. Completely. The game, which was actually scheduled for a Fall 2006 release, is finally finished and will ship to stores on schedule. It wasn't too long ago when the game's actual release was in limbo, but with EA throwing even more backing behind the game and releasing the Spore Creature Creator, signs looked good, and in a month or so we will be able to decide if the wait was worth it. The game will be on store shelves on September 5th, so be ready to get creative. Look for my race of flying Beholder beasts or Starborn Cthulhu running around the galaxy. Before long, we will take you over, and you will be destroyed.
