Steam Drops MMO Prices This Weekend

Prepare for Large, Cheap Battles

by Coop

Been waiting for a reason to jump into an MMORPG? Was that reason a big sale on Steam? If so, than you're in luck, because Valve has marked down MMORPGs from 20-75% off. Not only that, but they still come with a free month of play, meaning trying out games like Age of Conan and Everquest II will only cost about $10.

There are about 12 items for sale all this weekend. They're listed below, so if you're interested in jumping into games like Lineage or Eve Online there's absolutely no better time than the present. The full list is below.

  • City of Heroes Architect Edition $15.99 (20% off)
  • Lineage $7.99 (20% off)
  • Guild Wars Trilogy $39.99 (20% off)
  • Lineage 2: Garcia Final $15.99 (20% off)
  • Eve Online: Apocrypha $7.49 (25% off)
  • Vanguard: Saga of Heroes $15.99 (20% off)
  • Pirates of the Burning Sea $15.99 (20% off)
  • Age of Conan $9.99 (50% off)
  • Everquest II Rise of Kunark Starter Pack $15.99 (20% off)
  • Everquest Secrets of Faydwer Starter Pack $15.99 (20% off)
  • Everquest II The Shadow Odyssey $9.99 (75% off)
  • Everquest Seeds of Destruction All in One Compilation Pack $31.99 (20% off)

Picking any up? I think I'm good on MMOs, especially the ones listed here, but it might be worth taking a look at what Age of Conan has to offer, at least for a little while.
