Sunny, Not Raiden, Will Star in Next MGS?
Rumor: It's in the Eyes

Last night we reported that the Kojima countdown would end during Sony's press conference after finding an image of Raiden in Famitsu (because no one else on the internet can divide 116 by 24). We were sleepy, it was late, and we didn't realize something: that's not Raiden. If you look closely - look at the eyes - you can see that it's actually Metal Gear Solid IV's Sunny.
Look at the image above. It's a little blurry, but it's very obvious that the pictured character has brown eyes. Raiden, on the other hand, has always had blue eyes, as seen in the image below. It's his thing, his signature, there's no way this could be a mistake.
So what gives?
Who could possibly follow in Raiden's footsteps as the bionic, silver-haired ninja? Sunny seems to fit the bill. She looks to Raiden as a brother, has the same hair, and, yes, she has brown eyes. Look below.
Some who have looked at the Famitsu article have said the text hints that the game will take place ten or fifteen years after MGS4, so the timeline adds up. Either way, we're willing to be that we might be seeing more of fan-favorite Sunny in the near future.
...or it's Raiden's son, or clone, or something like that. Who knows with Kojima...

Good catch, those eyes in the top pic are very clearly not blue.

A few things to consider.
The theory is an interesting one, and it has been thrown around the internet for a few hours now. The biggest hit against it is that the shoulders on the character are too wide. It doesn't disprove the theory, but it is a valid point. The jaw wouldn't make any sense.
Not to mention the two dots on the forehead seem to suggest this character used to have a face mask (probably lost in the eye injury). As seen in your Raiden picture, he never had screws in that part of his forehead and as such Raiden is probably not a likely answer. (Especially with the brown eyes)
The two strongest theories at this time seem to be:
Gray Fox: He has a history with Big Boss. His colour scheme matches the one seen in the picture (orange shoulders, blue body). In some early concept art there are pictures in which his mask was open, and it looked very similar to Raiden's new mask. Also the injured left eye is another big clue. Not to mention how Gray Fox had brown eyes and white hair.

Raiden's son: If the shoulders are indeed too wide, and the character portrayed is a boy, it is just as likely to be Sunny as it is Raiden's son. Near the end of MGS4 he is given a sword, if you remember. His characteristics would fit.

could be Raiden's son... could be Olga... could be Jesus... who knows with Kojima. All that is certain is that I can't wait for it no matter what it is. Love the MGS series.
