FINE! I WILL BE YOUR VALENTINE! Well it was only a matter of time until the news we all feared came true: Super Smash Brothers: Brawl has been delayed until February 10, 2008. I can't imagine what is taking so long. The game has looked to be in a near complete form for over a year now and doesn't even seem to be using a new engine. The only guesses I can muster up involve Sonic and his kin being added more recently then expected. I imagine the deals that has to be signed took too long and now we are looking at a Smashless Christmas. On the bright side this should give some people a lighter load for the season. This year sees a plethora of unbelievable titles sliding on to the 360, PS3, Wii and PC. Nintendo has gone back on its promise and Brawl has joined Grand Theft Auto IV in the games we will cry about until 2008. But if this is indeed to implement new characters is it justified? Would you accept a one or two month delay so that new characters or levels can be added to a game? I can say yes, at least this time, but what about you?
