Super Smash Brothers Prediction: Volume Eight
Who Will Capcom Put In?

It is to no ones surprise that I have put more thought into the character select screen of Super Smash Brothers: Brawl then I have on many more important things in my life. That said I have a large amount of predictions and speculations about what will and what will not make it into the new Brawl when it reaches our shores in February. On Monday and Friday every week from now until, well, until I run out of ideas, I will give one prediction.
November 23, 2007 – MEGAMAN
I swore I would never, ever put Megaman in this - things change. Rumors are a rumbling that Capcom is pushing its weight into Smash Brothers. That leaves two options: Megaman and Leon Kennedy. Somehow I doubt that we will see Leon, but who knows.
Megaman would be a good addition to the lineup. He certainly fits the profile of a smash brothers character. He has different costumes easily from all of the crappy DS versions and he has an arsenal of weapons at his disposal. Megaman could be a range focused character - bringing a cool new tactic into the game.
Megaman's Final Smash would call the aid of Rush, his dog. Rush would bolt on screen and tear enemies apart like the faithful companion he is. Leafman, Earthman, Sandman, and any other "man" to ever be in a Megaman game would be assist trophies.
There is my official prediction: Megaman will be a playable character in Super Smash Brothers: Brawl.

I'd be as happy as a little girl. Love me some Rockman!
Having the blue bomber in the game would rock hard. I will sincerely hope that this prediction turns out to be correct. (And man, I don't want Leon anywhere near me. He's creepy.)
I just think Megaman would be too reminisent of Samus... with the arm and rockets.
