Super Smash Brothers Predictions: Volume One
Lord Ganon Takes the Stage
by Coop

October 29, 2007 - GANONDORF
There are plenty of reasons to think Ganondorf will make it into Super Smash Brothers Brawl. For one, he was in Melee. This isn’t a sure fire reason but it means the character is well developed and has a move set. While it wasn’t his own move set it might as well be, as odds are Captain Falcon will end up being left in the dust.
The character model is also already done for him. Nintendo has made it clear they essentially took Link’s model from Twilight Princess for use in Brawl and they would likely do the same with Ganondorf. His character in Zelda looked amazing and it would be a fine addition to the Zelda characters already in the game. They may also completely redo his attacks to be more focused on his character from Twilight Princess in the ways of swordplay.
As for his final smash I think it will be linked to his form changing abilities. It wouldn’t be unlikely that upon grabbing the smash ball he would transform into the beast, Ganon. Ganon would be the piggish character from Twilight Princess and his move set would involve dashing from side to side dealing massive damage to anyone in his wake.
There is my official prediction: Ganondorf will be a playable character in Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

i hope this prediction is right. it'd be neat to have another smash brothers character that morphs.
Note that they haven't confirmed Falcon, and note that I actually already covered that.

Do you even read the articles? Or do you just go in, make stupid comments, and leave?
ZING, Gorthus owned.
I hope Ganon is in it...as much as I hate playing against someone good with him...aka Andy, He is still a character that should be there. I think its safe to say that he will be, the only odd thing is why would nintendo wait to tell people when he was already in Melee.
They waited a while on the Ice Climbers. They were only confirmed a few weeks back.
Ganon the canon, i heard was a huge possibility. I would deffinately enjoy seeing him in the mix. Or seeing him as a boss. Especially in his pig form. Like whoa.
