TGS 08: No More Heroes 2 - Desperate Struggle Announced
I'll Be BACK!
by Coop
Marvelous Entertainment and Grasshopper Manufacture has announced that a sequel to No More Heroes is currently in development, as seen in the trailer above, and given the unfortunate name NMH2: Desperate Struggle. Then again, the original poked as much fun at gaming as possible, so "Desperate Stru--" holy crap! Desperate Struggle is abbreviated to DS, just like 3/4 of the Nintendo DS games on the market. Coincidence?
Most likely. But I noticed that as I typed it and freaked out a little inside. NMH DS would be awesome.
Anyway, back to the actual news, or lack thereof, aside from what is in the trailer there is literally nothing known about this game. Hell, we can't even be sure it's a Nintendo exclusive, since Suda 51 has recently been seen canoodling with the Unreal 3 Engine. I absolutely adored the original, so any sequel is good news, and I anxiously await more information more than I want to draw my next breath.
