Even if you grow strong and learn all of the games tricks, seeing one running down the hall towards you is still one of the most frightening experiences in a game to date. I hear the thuds of heavy, armored feet stomping down the hall coupled with the laughter of a Little Sister. The hall I was in was narrow enough for him to fit through, but was right around a corner with limited visibility. I pulled out my crossbow and equipped the tripwire ammunition and began to rig up the hallway. Six arrows now stuck out of the wall and lit up the hall with electricity ready to send the beast back to hell, and I turned the corner and shot at him with the shotgun.

Turning and running I heard the signature roar of an angry Big Daddy. Like a spider, I made my way back through my own trip lines and ran through the hall and into a door. The roar continued and she threw himself past the corner and into my trap.

Zip. Zip. Zip. Zip. Zip. Zip.

His body fell in front of me, dead. My trap had worked, and I moved towards my reward…
