The Last Guardian Fumito Ueda Interview Tries to Explain the Creature
New Footage, Too!

Well, well, well, it looks like Tokyo Game Show is good for something other than people other than me having fun in Japan. The PlayStation Blog has updated with a little video doc that goes into the mind of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus creator, Fumito Ueda. In it, he discusses his next project: The Last Guardian, otherwise known as "that game with the big kitty that you're going to cry at the end of."
Ueda goes into details on the creature, which isn't a kitty, puppy, bunny, or griffon. It's an imaginary creature because, apparently, that makes it more realistic. Yeah, that's what he says. At first I was confused, wondering how that makes any sense at all. After watching the video, however, I sort of see where he's coming from. It went over my head, and he brought it down to my level, because that's how cool he is. And he's crazy good at what he does. Check out the video.

It looks great, but the music still makes me think of Miller's Crossing.
