THQ Picks Up 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand

Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

In times of economic crisis, companies need to make very important decisions. Games are expensive, and companies need to be careful what they decide to publish and what they don’t. It’s because of these facts of life that I’m ecstatic to announce that 50 Cent: Blood in the Sand has been picked up after being foolishly dropped by Activision by genius publishers THQ.

There still isn’t any word on a release date, but every moment that goes by without the title being released is a sin, a crime against humanity. The plot might be completely and utterly ridiculous, but the gameplay looks incredibly tight and the graphics are great. One Epic boss saw the game several months ago and had nothing but good things to say, so hopefully THQ’s able hands will be able to get the game on store shelves in the near future. Sadly, there is still nothing on Ghostbusters or Brutal Legend, but I'm sure they will find homes soon.

Good luck figuring out what’s sarcasm and what isn’t.

All of that isn't sarcasm, because they're simple statements.

And I hate to say this, but it probably is a smart business move. THQ knows this game is going to sell regardless of quality. Look at Bulletproof.

While I'm not a fan of this title by any stretch, the first 50 Cent game was a huge seller. THQ knows this, and will most likely sell another million.
