Today's Woot Shirt is Super Maneki Bros.
Maneki Neko Says "Yahoo!"

While 93% of the internet's power is spent fueling page refreshes on today's Woot Off (F5! F5! F5!), a small, happy kitty waves from the bottom right of the screen. In a mash-up that no one ever wanted or expected, Mario meets Maneki Neko in Super Maneki Bros. Our civilization has become so strange...
Here's their description of the shirt:
Maneki Neko, the iconic Japanese lucky cat, has brought good fortune to untold numbers of superstitious believers over the years. Now he takes his powers of luck and his trademark raised-hand gesture into the pixelated world of video gamery.
Wear this shirt: for a most auspicious journey through the kingdom of the mushrooms.
Don’t wear this shirt: when you’re shooting fireballs. Don’t tell anybody, but these shirts are as inflammable as hydrogen gas.
This shirt tells the world: “He’s not waving, he’s beckoning. That’s the way they do it over there. Also, sometimes they eat squids.”
We call this color: Black Cats Aren’t Lucky, Lucky Cats Aren’t Black.
I've already spent enough money online today on silly toys, so I'm sitting it out. Plus, I already have a dozen Woot shirts sitting on my shelf featuring different characters from video games. I really don't think I need another one to not wear, especially since I have very little in common with Maneki Neko besides my love for waving and sitting on Mario set pieces.
