Ubisoft Loves Them Delays
Three More Slip to 09
by Coop
Ubisoft’s press release has announced some painful new delays to make sure everyone knows exactly how screwed for games we will be in 2008. All bumped to Quarter 1, 2009 are: Tom Clancy's EndWar, Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway and Far Cry 2.
Their release dates, which were previously scattered around 2008 in a random fashion, are now all snug in January-April 2009. You know, where the big money is for game releases. These titles join the other Tom Clancy game to see the bump a month or so ago: Splinter Cell Conviction.

Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway

Farcry 2
There are a few reasons to guess why this keeps happening for Ubisoft. This may be recoil from trying to get all of their titles out this year without delay, now we suffer the consequences of them pulling all developers from other projects to focus on one. My guess, however, is that all of these games are being put on the Assassin’s Creed engine. Come on, it would be awesome!

a delayed game that has more time to be developed is better than a buggy game. you'll remember how bad a buggy game is but when a delayed game is released and it's 'flawless', you wont remember the delays.
twilight princess and resident evil 4, in my opinion
Every Valve & Blizzard game (non-MMO)!
FarCry 2 loooks so sick.
