Ubisoft Releases Assassin's Creed II Tokyo Game Show Trailer
Gives Ezio a Purpose in Life

Ubisoft has released a new trailer for Assassin's Creed II, going deeper into the Ezio's past, and revealing his reasons for joining with the Assassins. Now more than ever, I can't help but shake the feeling that Ubisoft decided to model the protagonist after Orlando Bloom, because he sure as hell looks more like Will Turner than he does Desmond Miles.
Ezio appears to be even more acrobatic than his ancestor was. Besides having the same moves as Altair, he's also shown running on the wall in this trailer, something the assassin never got around to learning in the original. The footage also shows the same mixture of brutal combat that has been shown off in the past few, with Ezio shoving all sorts of different bladed weapons into (and out of) different orifices.
Assassin's Creed II is steamrolling forward, and looks like it might actually miss the delay train that seems to have hit nearly every other AAA release this year. As strange as it might sound, the fact that the PC version was released actually calms my nerves about the console version being pushed back as well. If Ubisoft wanted to delay the 360 and PS3 versions, they would have done it all at once, right?
Right?
