UPDATE: Looks like it's the multiplayer demo. Boo. I had fun in the beta, and I'm sure it'll be great and all, but I want to play Uncharted 2's story, not deathmatch.
The official PlayStation twitter has updated with some news that should make any PS3 owner happy: later today, an Uncharted 2: Among Thieves demo will be made available on the PlayStation Network. At 11AM PST, everyone can jump on and start the download, clogging up and likely slowing Sony's servers to a crawl. In other words, be prepared to sprint home and start it up, or else you'll be stuck watching one KB tick at a time. We call this "MAG Syndrome."
That's all we know so far. It's likely the same demo shown at this year's Penny-Arcade Expo, so you can read my impressions here to get a teaser. Even so, it's definitely worth checking out to get pumped for the sequel. I'm going to start trudging back through the original within the next week to get further prepared for the new one, but that isn't going to stop me from picking up this demo immediately. Anyone else hyper-super-duper excited?
