After a dry spell that lasted several months I began to wonder if Valve was going back on their word of delivering more “Meet the…” shorts based on one of my favorite games from 2007, Team Fortress 2. I am happy to announce that they have not forgotten us, and the clip below below is one of the best shorts yet.

I love the scout class; it is easily my favorite of the bunch in Team Fortress 2. Hell, I dressed as one for Halloween this year - baseball bat and all. It is amazing how much personality they have been able to pack into these characters, and the video segments just add to that.

The interaction with the heavy is hilarious and had me actually laughing out loud as he ran circles around the poor guy. The quality also seemed to be better then the last few, with some nicer shaders and animation then there were in the last short films. I cannot wait for the rest, and eagerly anticipate the Pyro class’s short, which will undoubtedly be mumbled incoherently. Now that that's over, where is the full length, feature film? We know you have it in you!
