Vegas 2 PS3 Patch in the Works
Viva Broken Video Games Baby, Yeah!
by Coop

Since most every person I know picked up Rainbow Six Vegas 2 for the Xbox 360, I wasn’t really aware there was a problem. My version was working fine. Connecting to games has been a breeze and the online multiplayer is a paragon of co-operative joy. However, upon looking around the interwebs today I was surprised to hear that the PS3 version’s online is broken.
Ok, I wasn’t really surprised at all.
This is just the most recent in a flood of broken games and buggy gameplay. Word is that the game's online functionality is broken and Ubisoft has been quick to announce that they plan on getting a patch out as soon as possible.
This issue is currently being worked on by the development team. Unfortunately, we do not have an ETA on when it will be resolved, but it should not be long.
Hopefully this fix will be in place soon so the seventeen people who actually purchased the title for the PS3 can play together. This trend is becoming annoying, with developers not properly testing titles before they release them. I want this to end, but as long as it doesn't affect me, I can't see myself getting too torn up about it.

If the patch fixes it, who cares how often it happens?
People who buy games for $60 dollars and have to wait a week to actually play it care. I seem to recall someone getting upset when they had to wait a day to get a game they were waiting for, imagine finally getting it and having it be unplayable.
