Well, the awards are over - that felt weird. I don't watch too many award shows, but I'm pretty sure the VGAs were heavy on the show, and light on the award. It felt like a bad E3 press conference, but with Jack Black instead of some guy in a suit who most people have never heard of. And there was the guy who plays Darryl from The Office, and I don't remember him at Sony's presser.
Above is the trailer for God of War III. The PlayStation 3 has been running on hopes and dreams of a future full of mythological blood, but this trailer is the definition of underwhelming. Jaffe said it was the best looking game ever, and it's barely scratching the toes of Heavenly Sword.
We get it, vengeance, you hate Zeus, awesome. Lets see some breathtaking visuals and amazing use of the system's untapped power. Come on, if anyone can do it, Kratos can, am I right?

i was expecting more.. but it still look smexy
I'm sure the game will be good, but that trailer was less smexy and more slackluster.

i understand david jaffe is just a rambling tool sometimes, but man was he wrong about the graphics looking all that.
This will be, yet another, owned game. Only thing is... why does Kratos look like he's not a part of the "next generation" of consoles? I like the way he looks in the other games more. Too much bit mapping, I guess.
