Wii Modern Warfare Renamed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex
Infinity Ward Spent Too Many Nights at the Karaoke

A few days ago, Sarah posted Nintendo's winter line-up, which listed everything hitting the Wii and DS in 2009. Odds are you skimmed it, since most people don't care too much about My Baby and Me or The Daring Game for Girls. If you looked carefully, however, you might have noticed that Activision has changed the name of the Wii port of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Instead of going by its Christian name, it will henceforth be refered to as... Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex. Yes, I'm serious.
No reason is given for the unnecessary change, but it's likely put in place to help those who might be confused by the original Modern Warfare being re-released on the same day as the sequel. This way, when someone is being laughed at for buying Call of Duty: Modern Warfare: Reflex, they are at least getting the right thing. On another note, is there a limit to the amount of colons allowed in a game title? It seems like the cut-off should be one, but Activision went ahead and dropped two into their Wii port. Can they literally use as many as they want? Weird.
