One year ago this week, 2D Boy's amazing World of Goo launched on WiiWare and PC. It's become one of the highest rated games on the Wii, and is a must buy for anyone with the capability to play it. This week, to celebrate the game's huge success, 2D Boy has offered the community a birthday present: get World of Goo for however much you think it's worth.

If it doesn't load up right away, know that it's because of the huge influx of people attempting to get the title as quickly as possible, for fear that this might be some sort of trick. It's not, and you can get the game for mad cheap. It runs through Friday, so even if it crashes between now and then you should have plenty of time to grab the incredibly interesting puzzler.

Even if you've already purchased the game on WiiWare, this is a great excuse to grab another copy. Why? Why not! And while you're at it, throw them a few dollars, they've earned it.
