Team 17's classic worm-em-um, Worms, has finally made the leap onto the iPhone.

For those who haven't played it, Worms is a turn-based shooter, with players controlling adorable worms in an all-out battle. Teams take turns blasting each other apart with weapons like the machine-guns and holy hand grenades, attempting to be the last man worm standing. With four-player multiplayer (by passing around the phone) and over 50 levels, the iPhone version sounds like the best portable Worms yet! Holy crap do I sound like a PR person right now.

If I had an iPhone I'd be all over this, especially at $5. It's no Peggle, but Worms for that price is still well worth it. Anyone planning on picking this up? If so, tell us how it is - we really need more excuses to pick up Apple's phone.
