Wrath of the Lich King Dated for November
Prepare to Invade Northrend
by Coop

UPDATE: "Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. announced today that World of Warcraft(R): Wrath of the Lich King(TM), the second expansion for its award-winning subscription-based massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), will arrive in stores on November 13 in North America, Europe, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Russia, and November 14 in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand."
Several popular World of Warcraft websites have begun calling November 13th, 2008 as the release date for the title's next expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. Advertisements have started popping up on Thotbot and Wowhead, so while Blizzard is yet to respond I think it's safe to say that the date seems real. I was under the impression it was to be delayed, but after talking to industry sources (including Blizzard themselves, as you can hear on this upcoming week's Somethingcast), people are pretty sure it is going to be out this year. Blizzcon is only a few weeks away, so expect a lot more news from ActivisionBlizzard in the coming days involving this, and many other exciting announcements.
So, will anyone be picking this up? I haven't had a chance to mess with the beta yet, but so far it looks like I might be captured by Warhammer Online, so WotLK might not have me for November. What about you?
