Grand Theft Auto being great and all, I really can't help but think that it's time for a little bit of Downloadable Content. I'm not talking about the big things like the episodic content. That can wait. But I'm ready for a couple little things. Things to give a little more flavor to the city...Because for the amount of money you earn in the game, there is almost nothing to spend it on. You could purchase every bit of clothing in the game and be out less than 10,000 dollars, but only because a few suits are 1000 bucks a pop. Weaponry is fairly inexpensive. I've never ended up spending more than 70 dollars on a date, and cab fair barely puts even a ding in the wallet.

What we need are...

Purchaseable Safehouses: Like in San Andreas and Vice City. Maybe even make them customizable to a degree. From a little house in Aldurney, an apartment in Algonquin, maybe even a little wharehouse den out on the docks in Broker near Brucie (I personal favorite area, makes me think of Grand Theft Auto 2 for some reason)

More television channels: I actually like kicking back after a long "day" of highjacking and gunning and watching a little TV. But the same old channels are a little stale. A few new shows and channels would be nice.

More stand-up: Split Sides comedy club is my favorite place to go. But there's only so much Katt Williams a man can take. I'd like to see some Dane Cook or Greg Giraldo up there. Hell, I'm sure even Lewis Black will do a bit.

More Clothes: Don't get me wrong, there's some nice threads out there. But there IS a touch of blandness in the games wardrobe, nothing that stands out. I'd like to see some more Gangster Chic clothing, more hats, sunglasses, shoes...just more variety is all I'm asking.

Car Customization: Ever since Vice City, my favorite part of most GTA games are finding and storing Personal Cars, just for driving around and enjoying the sites. In Vice City, it was a black motorcycle that I was VERY careful with, because in the entire time I'd played Vice City, I'd only ever found one PURE BLACK motorcycle. Possible from a time when my brother initiated the Black Traffic cheat code. So I held onto it dearly. In San Andreas, with the car customization feature, I had five Personal Cars, all very special with their own distinct purpose. In Grand Theft Auto 4, I've made due with a little red sports car for taking girls out on dates, going to Split Sides, taking the boys out, etc. All good and well, but it would be beyond awesome, to me who indeed loves to take care of his GTA cars, to have a Pimp My Ride DLC for GTA 4. While I'm asking, any chance of bringing the Front Mounted Machine Gun feature from GTA 2 back?
