Base Wars - Continue?
ROBOT DROP KICK
At one point in my life I was afraid of the robot uprising. I really didn't feel comfortable with how the robots were designed. What was with the creepy skeleton bodies? But I digress. After playing Base Wars, I welcome the robot uprising with open arms...open, robotic, skeleton arms.
Every week on Continue?, we sit people down to play a random old school game for 45 minutes. We're talking NES, SNES, Genesis old here. There is one question we are trying to answer - do we want to stop playing or continue?

I'm not gonna lie, Nick. You're the best to ever play the game...
Oh man that game looked horrible. What an insane concept, I would have loved to sit in on that brainstorming session.
I fucking loved Base Wars when I was kid.
Best Continue? ever. Good work.
Awesome episode:) I usually don't check out retro gaming web shows about sports games (maybe an NFL Blitz, Tecmo Bowl or NBA Jam one....), but I checked this one out because it had the word "Wars" in it. So I was hoping that, maybe, this would be more along the lines of Mutant League Football than an actual baseball game. And man, was i not disappointed! The moment the first fight broke out, I was in love. This looks awesome, you guys made it look funny as hell. Great vid.
Btw, I find it extremely annoying that there is no dedicated "Continue?" hub page! Everytime I come here, I have to go Videos>....and then just click '>' to flip through the pages until I find what I want. Not the best way to organize this guys, but then again, I HATE doing stuff on my website, so I probably should just shut up:) But looking for Little ninja Bros.' Continue? is a huge pain in the butt as it currently stands.
@Vinsanity: Thanks again for the commentary. Your thoughts on the video portal are right on. We are in the process of re-working our video section to be more accessible. If you ever need to a link (say, to show all your friends and make us famous) shoot over an email. We may have an easier time hunting down the video.
But trust me - help is on the way!
