Continue? - Arch Rivals
Punch!!!
Every once in a while we play a game where we go head to head. Those episodes are usually pretty loud, but this one mostly has just Paul screaming...at the computer. We play Arch Rivals for Nintendo as per request of some of our viewers!
Every week on Continue?, we sit people down to play a random old school game for 45 minutes. We're talking NES, SNES, Genesis old here. There is one question we are trying to answer - do we want to stop playing or continue?

Dom, thanks for being the voice of reason and giving this terrible game a game over. Also, Nick Murphy can't dunk.
Playing this game on the NES simply doesn't do it justice. If you ever see an arcade cabinet version of it, it's well worth the price of a full game. Also, you've got to pick Mohawk. His punches are hardcore.
how about Ghost N Goblins on NES, if nothing for the sheer anger that none of you might make it past world 1 in 45 mins... and lots of yelling at that first red devil enemy
...or...
when it gets closer to baseball season, BASEBALL SIMULATOR 1.000... one 1/2 game normal baseball [best on NES], and a full game of scrazy ultra league cheap/powerups :^)
That was a great one! Man that was one crazy game. Why was that ref a midget? And why could you just trip over that dumbass?
You bring up a great point, Nick. I TOTALLY agree that there aren't enough sports games with robots and/or mutants nowadays. Y'know, fun sports games? It's just like, without an official, boring license, no one even tries. That sucks.
And I'm with Dom about the Game Over - games like this are only fun in multiplayer.
I gotta throw you guys some suggestions, all for NES:
-Jackie Chan Action Kung Fu
-Adventure Island III
-Whomp 'Em
-Gargoyle's Quest II
Another suggestion I always seem to forget? Felix the Cat for NES. That was an awesome, albeit short and easy, game.
great episode as always. One thing that kind of sucks now is that these are a lot shorter than they used to be. I remember when they used to be around 9-10 minutes long. They're just too short now, in my opinion.
give credits for suggestions, that would be cool. like more community based. and stuff.
Thanks for telling it how it is Dom. I'm looking forward to another fine year of Continue? Your end of the year episode is going in the history books!
Damn I was going to suggest double dribble. The dunk animations are sweet!
