Continue? - Samurai Shodown
More Like Nick Murphy Shodown
Once in a while on Continue? we play a game that has us going head to head in battle. Nick yells, Paul screams, and I laugh. This is one of those episodes.
Today we're playing Samurai Shodown for Sega Genesis. Check out Paul's sweet samurai moves, and listen for Nick's battle cries.
Every week on Continue?, we sit people down to play a random old school game for 45 minutes. We're talking NES, SNES, Genesis old here. There is one question we are trying to answer - do we want to stop playing or continue?

The epilogue made my day.
I didn't even know you were having a contest. Otherwise I'd of sent in a pic. Anyway, good continue as always. Nick Murphey is a real American.
BTW, I'm re suggesting PAC MAN 2 THE NEW ADVENTURES on the SNES. PLAY IT!!!
LOL laughed so hard at the every end of the show!
Awesome (hilarious) Ep! Keep it up!!!
liking the real american thrown in and this game was always a fun game to play
Both the "Nick the American" and the epilogue were amazing. Nick more or less made this episode one of the best.
One of the best episodes ever. And the only episode that I have watched twice. Sorry about the lack of Halloween pics. If I had known that I could have expanded my Redneck Rampage experience, I would have entered for sure. A few years ago I was one of the Blues Brothers, and this year I was Dwight from The Office. Anyway, Samurai Shodown was one of my favorite games growing up, but I only had it for the Gameboy. Nick Murphy was on fire.
Damn you guys and your amazing uses of 80's music lately:D "Real American" frickin' got me - not only is it almost always used in hilarious, semi-ironic ways nowadays, not only is it associated with cheesy/awesome 80's era WWF Hulk Hogan, but now I also associate it with Always Sunny in Philadelphia's episode where they put on a wrestling show for the troops and bust out the Birds of War.
This was pretty funny in general, but that damn montage really got me.
You guys screamed too much in this one though:) Not exactly the best episode to watch at 3 in the morning...
Oh, and because I'm now thinking of Hulk Hogan and awesome 80's era WWF, I highly suggest you guys hunt down a copy of Capcom's Saturday Night Slam Masters for the SNES. It's sort of a mashup between a wrestling game and a fighting game, one of the few SNES games I can think of that uses the multitap for 4 player games, and one of the only games ever made featuring Mike Haggar BEFORE he became Mayor of Metro City and started whupping ass with Guy, Cody, Maki and Carlos in Final Fight and FF2.
