General Chaos - Continue?

FIRE!

by Dominic

Series Continue?

War is Hell.  Plain and simple.  In this episode we get loud, fair warning.

Every week on Continue?, we sit people down to play a random old school game for 45 minutes. We're talking NES, SNES, Genesis old here. There is one question we are trying to answer - do we want to stop playing or continue?

Always nice to see an old game I never even heard of... something about listening to genesis game music always makes me uncomfortable, though.

Hahahah - you dudes get +10 for mentioning the "Amber lamps":D

You guys are always funny, but I hate General Chaos. Its the very definition of ugly ass, 90's era western cartoons. Like that dog crap, Boogerman. Ugh. What dark game times those were.

I feel like you guys should play a Virtual Console every once in awhile. Just so, if we see it and like it, there's an easy (legal) way to play and obtain it nowadays. Besides, no one gives love to that service these days -- especially Nintendo.

Plus there's wacky import games over there, like Ufouria, where you play as a Snowman/Penguin on a Metroid-like quest to reunite with his friends, one of whom is a ghost that wears sunglasses. Or Bio Miracle Bokutte Upa, which was sometimes called "Super Mario Baby" or "Super Mario Jr." back in the day if you saw it in certain..."auspicious" game shops. Its a platformer where you play as a baby whose magic rattle inflates evil pigs. In the second level (or world, I don't remember), he devours his way through a giant cake. Seriously, there's some cool stuff there. The No.1 thing I regret about this feature is seeing games I'd like to (legally) try out, and there's almost never an easy way to do it.
