Rock Band Sells 2.5 Million DLC Songs

Good news for MTV and Rock Band fans alike! Reuters.com released a story today announcing the success of Rock Band's downloadable content. According to the article, 2.5 million songs have been purchased and downloaded since the game's release. These numbers are apparently way ahead of MTV's
expectations. The top selling music packs were Metallica in first, The Police in second and Queens of the Stone Age in third. As for singles the report shows Foreigner's Juke Box Hero in first, CCR's Fortunate Son in second and Weezer's Buddy Holly in third.
The story continues to reveal that MTV is still in "ongoing discussion" to release a full The Who album as downloadable content. But in the meantime have been requested by other artists to offer their songs as downloadable content.
